NEW YORK: A Canadian group of St. Charbel devotees has obtained copyright permision to translate and publish Somewhen in Arabic.
Somewhen, Father Gilbert's first poetry book, after many years, is dedicated to Pope Francis, the first Pontiff from the Americas.
Father Gilbert considers the publication of this book as marking his "return to my priesthood of literature." Although Somewhen is the first of his three poetry collections to be published in the United States, it is the second of his books to be released in the U.S. The first was his novel, Wages of Sin, published as a limited edition in Honolulu in 1988.
